Google Plus is LIVE!

Google plus which is a social network managed by Google incorporated was officially launched on September 20th 2011 to all. It is considered that this launch will have a major competition to Facebook which is considered as the world’s most popular online social network. Previously this service was only available via invitation. This social network has seen tremendous increase of people joining in, in the last few weeks. Some of the features in Google plus includes search, Games, Hangouts, Sparks and Circles among others.

Google Plus Circles

The Circles feature allows a user to share his or her stuffs only to the right people he or she intends to. For example one can group his or her fans in different groups such as parents or family, workmates, alumni and friends.
This feature also allows you to follow articles posted by people you find fascinating. For example you can post a new job vacancy at your working place, to workmates and alumni circles only. The circles allow organization of contacts and enable a user to control his or her privacy fully. The number of circles one can create is not limited and a contact can be in more than one circle for.

Google Plus Sparks

Sparks is another feature of interest in Google +. This feature allows the user to get all information about his particular interest for example, a football team. You can search for your interest using the search feature or just type it. After you choose the category you want, add it to your interests.
Whenever you want to know what is happening in your area of interest, just click on it and the page is filled with all the information available. Once you read a particular article on your interests, you can even share it with people in your various circles or people who have you in their circles.

Google Plus Hangouts

Another very unique feature that makes Google+ distinct from other social networks is: the Google+ hangouts. There is no other social network that has video chat feature. This feature allows video conferencing with your circles.
However, steady and fast internet connection makes this feature even more enjoyable. Also a webcam is also needed for this feature. Hangouts can be public, so that everyone can join in or a two way chat for up to 10 people. This feature has an On Air mode that lets a user to broadcast to public. Google Docs is also available over Hangouts, making free live face to face collaboration possible.

Google Plus Games

Google+ also has a search platform. This feature returns information on popular content from websites, relevant people that you may be searching and Google Plus posts. Auto complete suggestions can be seen, as you types a search query. You can use arrow keys to select among the auto suggestions that are available or just finish typing and then click on search or hit the enter button to start your search.

Also you can sort out or save the search for easy access. The Google plus social network also comes with games feature from publishers such as Zynga and Wooga. This means that one can play the games when on Google plus. On clicking the games icon, Google plus Games page opens for users to browse through the various games that are available and then press play. When one plays games, he or she can share the games updates and gifts with his or her circles of wish. It is also possible to ignore some games, gaming notifications and messages.

Google Plus Social Network

Users of Google plus social network can upload videos and photos through Instant upload feature. Google+ mobile applications have auto upload feature which updates photos or video taken on your mobile phones straight to your account. Settings for the uploads can be customized before the photos or videos are available to your account profile.

This helps a user to decide on the photos he or she will allow to be visible to the different circles. Quitting this social network is very easy and complete, therefore friends can not tag you in photos or send requests to join groups once you have deactivated your account. When quitting Google plus, you are allowed to download your data therefore you do not lose anything.
